Born in 1997 in Honduras, Kemrry Froilan Castillo Miranda (p/k/a “KEY- KEY) was a fan of Camila, Prince Royce, Daddy Yankee, and Yandel. Over time, KEY-KEY cultivated his own style of infectious Latin Afrobeat with a positive flair that is now resonating globally. Today, many of Latin music’s biggest stars such as Ozuna, Beéle, and Nicky Jam are reaching out to KEY- KEY to work on collaborative projects.

Starting his own musical journey at the age of eight, KEY-KEY would sing his own lyrics over samples of existing records and share them with his friends. Despite losing his father at the age of six, losing his home, and sacrificing his education to assist his mother in selling bread cakes to support her six children, KEY-KEY possesses an unbreakable spirit of love and optimism that permeates throughout his music.

In addition to music, KEY-KEY is passionate about inspiring and assisting Honduran children get the education that he missed out on. KEY- KEY’s objective is to “influence youth by encouraging them to follow their dreams.” Being the first global artist to ever break out of Honduras, KEY- KEY has become a national hero and was recently introduced at one of his concerts by Honduran president Xiomara Castro.
